Screenplays

Aside from being an aspiring indie novelist, I also have a few screenplays in various shades of doneness. I love this medium as well because it allows me to put words in people’s mouths! Read on to discover some of my tales in screenplay form:

Between Men and Women        Love happens. Get over it.

Between Men and Women is a romantic-comedy.

Log Line:

Fed up with her life, Kate Morgan swears off relationships until she befriends love-resistant Noah Richards and discovers, that despite heroic efforts, love happens when you least want it to.

Summary:

Kate Morgan is leaving her life behind. Frustrated by her job and even more frustrating fiancé Matt, Kate is determined to follow her dream of becoming a Hollywood screenwriter. Along the way, she meets charming actor Noah Richards, who fails to charm her, however the two soon discover they have much in common, including the same pessimistic outlook on romantic relationships. Even though they find themselves falling for each other, their staunch anti-relationship stance causes them to deny their feelings. On the verge of giving in, things quickly cool when an apologetic and reformed Matt appears back on the scene. A drunken night at a party leads to a misunderstanding of intentions and soon Kate finds herself becoming a reluctant fiancée once again.

Alex becomes bitter as the romance between the two strengthens and their business begins to deteriorate. Tensions increase further as his animosity leads him to discover that Marcus is not what Sophie thinks he is. Abandoned by Sophie, he begins a new friendship with Deanna Jenkins.
